"Clinical Art Therapy" -

A Project work at the Clinic of Psychiatry, 'Alexandrovska' University Hospital Sofia

To promote the development of art therapy in the clinical field, ABAT has established a partnership between the National Academy of Arts and the University Hospital in Sofia. This is a project involving patients from the psychiatric clinic and students from the master's program in art therapy, who worked together artistically from February 16 to 20. The project was led by clinical art therapist and trainer Avgustina Stanoeva.

After two successful 3-day workshops in my hometown, I'm launching a training course for practicing therapists this year, which will consist of two weekend seminars. I'm developing the exciting program with two colleagues and will provide more information about it soon.

Association of the Bulgarian Art Therapists

The association aims to unite Bulgarian art therapy professionals, practicing on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria or abroad, to promote the development and recognition of the profession, as well as to stimulate the exchange of knowledge, methods and practical experience in the field of art therapy.
